The SledChile Base Camp is located on the south slope of Lonquimay Volcano just beneath Corralco Ski Resort.

The compound is adorned with numerous backcountry cabins warmed by woodstoves tended to by local staff. They offer a cozy retreat to begin and conclude each day.  Just steps down the path from the cabins is the SledChile Quincho - a traditional Chilean clubhouse.  Here, the guests gather for daily breakfast and dinner, planning the upcoming day at a farmhouse-style table and sharing stories of the day's adventures. The Quincho boasts a full bar, providing access to Chilean wine, homemade pisco sours, and a variety of beers. Just outside of the Quincho, a 10-person wood-fired hot tub awaits, offering a perfect way to rejuvenate tired muscles.

True to Chilean hospitality, each guest's visit concludes with a grand asado (bbq), where local friends join in celebration of the farewell. Massive cuts of beef and lamb are expertly cooked over an open flame, accompanied by a medley of dishes unique to the region. This unforgettable experience satisfies both stomachs and souls, leaving a lasting impression on all who partake.
